'Something unbelievable': Carlos Alcaraz achieves dream of winning French Open – video

Carlos Alcaraz said it was 'a great, great feeling' to win the French Open title as he became the eighth Spanish man to do so. 'Knowing all the Spanish players who have won this tournament and be able to put my name on that amazing list is something unbelievable' Alcaraz said before adding, 'something that I dream about being in this position since I was started playing tennis'. The World No 2 prevailed in an absorbing five set contest, beating Alexander Zverev 6-3 2-6 5-7 6-1 6-2. After the match Zverev described his opponent as 'a beast' and 'an animal' on the court.
