Excitingly, Robin Williams will be making his long-awaited live return to the London stage this week. Having done much to make people think he's a one-trick pony through his appearances in countless maudlin movies - which are mainly vehicles for Williams to energetically jump around and shout and be Robin Williams in a doctor's outfit (Patch Adams) or Robin Williams in a long mac (What Dreams May Come) - he's always been best live. Expect him to be his usual ball of nervous energy on this Weapons Of Self Destruction tour as he comes out with hilarious political and social commentary. An opportunity to rekindle that love affair that has flickered out of late.
