Comedy preview: Fullmooners Moontacular Cockney Special, London

Fullmooners is probably the only original thing to come out of the Comedy Store for many a year, a venue sadly so far removed from its alternative comedy heyday that it's a miracle this slipped through the net at all. A concept-driven night that only takes place when the moon is full, a who's-who of comedy guests - including Matt Lucas, Noel Fielding, Simon Pegg, Simon Munnery and the infamous Russell Brand - have all come out to howl at past lunar spectaculars. Hosted by the award-winning comedian Andrew Maxwell and incorporating a special team of breakdancers, the event always promises mayhem. The angle of tonight's show is cockney, featuring East End wordsmith Micky Flanagan and tough guy Ricky Grover, with Phil Kay and regular Fullmooners Lady Carol Of The Moon and Sir Tim Fitzhigham completing the lineup.
