Comedy preview: The Boat Show, London

This article is more than 15 years old

The Boat Show has been a south London comedy staple for over eight years: a place where the biggest names in comedy mix with the intermediate and newer acts on a boat moored on the Thames. Rich Hall, Stewart Lee and Johnny Vegas have all appeared there at some point, and still do. Tonight's bill offers another excellent cross-section of new and established talent, with the measured ponderings of Welshman Lloyd Langford, plus charismatic cockney Mickey Flanagan and the highlight of the evening, droll, deadpan gagsmith Milton Jones. It's a perfect mix; long may their booking policy continue.

Tattershall Castle, SW1, Sat 18 and Fri 24
