Comedy preview: I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, on tour

This article is more than 14 years old

Like Private Eye, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue is one of those comic institutions where the idiosyncrasies and familiar jokes are glorious fun for the initiated, but mildly baffling to the outsider. If you're yet to master the non-rules of Mornington Crescent or blind to the enormous humorous value of the words "Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia", then do persevere. Sooner or later it's going to hook you, and you'll wonder how you ever sat in an early evening tailback without it. Now, just a few years from its 40th anniversary, Clue is still delivering top-drawer consistency, despite the passing of beyond-legendary chairman Humphrey Lyttelton. Master of ceremonies for this tour is Jack Dee, providing a deadpan pivot for the flurry of puns and silliness to be expected from regulars Barry Cryer, Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor.
