MARKS & Spencer found its spark with viral sell-outs, dupes and must-have buys for all seasons.
Here, Clemmie Fieldsend reveals what you should purchase as we head into autumn.
Wide-leg wonders
M&S is the market leader when it comes to denim sales – and it is no surprise when you see its offerings.
The wide-leg jeans in seven different colours (available in sizes 6-24) are its fastest-selling jeans, with Google searches for the product increasing 32 per cent in the last month alone – and it is not hard to see why.
They hug the hips and extend out wide in parallel lines to the ankle that create a longer, slimmer-looking leg, whatever your body shape.
With a high waist for tucking in tummies and made with recycled cotton, they are sustainable and extremely comfortable.

At £35, they are a bargain which can be worn year after year.
Marvellous midaxi
MARKS & Spencer struck gold in 2022 with its range of printed midaxi dresses (longer than a midi but not a floor-skimming maxi) that became a go-to staple for their customers.
This season they’re back with a new style with a longer cuffed sleeve and V-neck.
The ditsy frock comes in a blue floral mix as well as black.

Plus it has figure-flattering ruching under the chest that flatters all bust sizes and body sizes with the fabric gliding over curves to create a defined A-line silhouette.
It will be one of those autumn dresses you can wear everywhere, a classic with contemporary details that makes it feel special.
Viral cardigan
SHOPPERS have been scrambling to get their hands on this perfect transitional cardigan, which doubles as a jacket, since its launch a few weeks ago.
In fact, it is so popular it has sold out several times and has more than eight million hashtags on TikTok.
M&S told us it is being restocked in the coming weeks, but there are still some samples in stores – so readers could get lucky.
The store’s knitwear department has seen more than a 64 per cent increase in sales on this time last year.
The £35 cardigan comes in black and cream and is buttoned with statement gold hardware down the front and on the pockets.

In other high street stores, you might hunt in the new-in clothing section for bodysuits, but M&S has sexy styles hidden in its lingerie area that are too good to miss.
This £25 bargain in control-shaping lace not only looks amazing but comes with the store’s Flexifit technology, which, to you and I, means they’re extremely comfortable and act like shape-wear too.
With long sleeves and a slight turtle-neck, it’s the elegant essential you can wear now with jeans (as M&S shows on its website) or for party season and even as lingerie.
This will be one of the most versatile pieces you will own this season.
Arm candy
IF there’s one thing M&S have excelled at in the past few months, it is its ability to create low-cost but high-quality dupes.
Last season it was its £35 dupe of the £2,550 Celine cross body bag, which flew off the shelves.
And they are back this season with a dupe of the Hermes Kelly bag.
While the high-end leather top handle tote bag would set you back around £20,000 second-hand, this M&S version is a steal at £39.50.
Do-everything hoodie
WE love that feeling of getting home from a long day of work, stripping off and getting into our ultra-comfortable loungewear.
This hidden gem in M&S’s nightwear department is as stylish as it is comfortable for £28.
Soft and cosy borg textures like these are big news on the catwalks of top brands Gucci and Loewe, and this sleep-hoodie is just as good as any of their offerings.
