A WOMAN has blocked her best mate after discovering she'd been sleeping with her 23-year-old son.

The anonymous woman, who shared the alleged incident on Mumsnet, was left reeling after discovering her friend of over two years had been getting frisky with her son.

To make things worse, her son - who is five years younger than the pal, 28 - is supposed to be in a committed relationship.

Taking to the popular parenting forum, the mum claimed she hung up on her friend and blocked the contact on her phone.

According to the woman, it's not the age gap that bothered her as they're both adults - but she did slam her bestie for showing absolutely no ''boundaries, morals, and respect''.

"I had helped this friend over that last few months with food for herself and her cat as she has no job and was depressed etc," the post reads.

"She now has a job, and only a couple of weeks ago, she was saying to me how much she values our friendship and how thankful she is that I came into her life and that she appreciates everything I've done for her.

''She had already slept with my son at that point! I've known her for two and a half years... [I'm] fuming!"

The mum added that since the news came to light her son has apologised for his behaviour and that she has urged him to confess to his girlfriend.

Gobsmacked, hundreds of Mumsnet users flocked to the comments section, with many shaming both parties for their bedroom antics.

"That's disgusting behaviour," one user was stunned.

"I would have done the same. And yes very disrespectful of her to come into your house and do that. Shame on her."

Another agreed, adding: "The age thing doesn't matter - it's the disrespect and it's just unnecessary."

A third was raging: "She's not a good friend and I wouldn't have her in my life any more," while a fourth reckoned: "They are as guilty and amoral as each other.''

However, not everyone slammed the former pal and insisted the blame should be focused on the cheating son instead.

Numerous commenters urged the young bloke to ''keep it in his pants'', with one person stating: "It's your son who is at fault, not the friend."

''Your son however has behaved shockingly. I'd be so disappointed if my son acted in this way towards his girlfriend."
