In an Instagram post, the mum-of-five shared a DIY tutorial for making a budget Halloween decoration for your home.

She described the simple handmade decor as "super easy but effective."

"Trying to squeeze in as many Halloween makes before work as possible, love this one so much," the influencer told her audience.

For her first step, she cut up a pool noodle, which can be purchased for £3 from Amazon.

Stacey cut the noodle into different sized pieces and arranged them face up on an old tray.

She used a hot glue gun to secure each piece of pool noodle in place.

Next, she took electric tea lights and placed them inside the top of each pool noodle piece.

Stacey made sure to cut slits into the inside of the pool noodle for easy removal of the electric lights.

This meant she could easily turn on and off the candles and didn't have to drain their batteries.

She then covered each flame detail with a piece of tape before taking the tray outside.

To create a melted look on the fake candle sticks, she sprayed a small amount of expanding foam at the top of each pool noodle.

Once this had dried, Stacey covered the entire tray and noodles in black spray paint.

She then removed the pieces of tape to reveal the glowing orange flames.

They created a creepy glow against the matte black finished of the DIY candles.

While Stacey placed the finished decoration in the corner of her kitchen, she explained her larger plans for the decor.

Inside Stacey Solomon's Pickle Cottage

STACEY Solomon splashed out a massive £1.2million on Pickle Cottage - and Joe Swash didn't put in a penny.

She solely stumped up the cash for their Tudor-style Essex property, which is set in 2.5 acres and boasts an outdoor swimming pool.

The former X Factor star and Joe live there with Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle.

It’s not known why Stacey went alone, as ex-EastEnders actor Joe is reportedly worth over £1million, but has also been made bankrupt twice in 2009 and 2013.

Shrewd Stacey has shown she’s a dab hand at running a wide range of successful businesses including TV, books, clothing and homeware ranges.

Her main firm Key Map Entertainments is worth just shy of £3million - and she's also branched out into cosmetics.

The former X Factor contestant registered the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her youngest two daughters.

"I’m going to make a few of these for the front door this year," she told her followers.

"I think they’ll look so cool, the Halloween event is next week so I need to get my bum in gear."

And the DIY Halloween candles aren't the only spooky decor Stacey has up.

She previously revealed that most of Pickle Cottage has been covered in skeletons and pumpkins since school started back.

"It's months before Halloween, I'm not walking around in a ghost house," her husband Joe Swash could be heard saying in one clip.
