So here's what we know about Post Office opening times over the August bank holiday weekend.
Is the Post Office open during the bank holiday?
The August bank holiday lands on Monday 26 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Main Post Offices will close over the bank holiday weekend, but local branches will remain open if the retail business is open.

However, many small shops that house a Post Office will close early on a bank holiday, to allow staff the chance to enjoy some well earned time off.
Always check with the store, so you won't be caught out by an early closure.
Opening hours on the weekend before the bank holiday will remain the same, with many local branches open on a Sunday.
It's been a tough year for the Post Office, which has been rocked by scandal.

Will you get deliveries on a bank holiday?
While you can go to an open Post Office on bank holiday Monday to send a letter or parcel, mail deliveries do not take place.
Deliveries are made by Royal Mail, which is a separate company from the Post Office.
Royal Mail generally does not deliver or collect mail on bank holidays or Sundays.
If you place anything in a postbox on the bank holiday, it will be collected the next day.
It's important to mail any urgent post before the bank holiday to make sure that it gets there on time.
The Post Office has confirmed that parcels sent on August 24 and 25, will arrive on August 27 "at the earliest".
Are there more bank holidays in 2024?
Christmas Day and Boxing Day are both bank holidays.
This year Christmas Day falls on a Wednesday.
