ALMOST half of families say their kids will miss out on summer holiday clubs and activities amid rising costs, a study found.
And one in 12 even said their children have had to miss meals because of money problems, according to the research by Tesco.

The Sun has teamed up with Tesco’s Stronger Starts programme to launch our Activity for All drive, which will donate £1,000 each to 150 clubs providing sports activities to youngsters throughout the summer.
They could include groups that give kids their first taste of cricket, basketball camps or multi-sport days.
The funding could help to provide equipment or offer free healthy lunches.
Claire De Silva, of Tesco, said: “Stronger Starts provides over £5million of funding for schools and groups supporting young people.

“The Activity For All grants will provide food and opportunities to keep youngsters active and happy.”
In addition, Tesco is donating £1million to food bank charities FareShare and The Trussell Trust.
