The communications job pays over £25,000 and an essential criteria for the job is an “eye for detail.”

The description on the Royal Household website reads: “Whether working on a state visit, ceremonial event or Royal engagement, you'll make sure our communications consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.”

The successful candidate will respond to “day to day media enquiries on a range of subjects, including about the work of members of the Royal Family".

The description adds: "The Royal Communications team promotes the work, role, relevance and value of the Royal Family to a worldwide audience.

More on the royals

"The reaction to our work is always high-profile, and so reputation and impact will be at the forefront of all that you do.

"Whether working on a state visit, ceremonial event or Royal engagement, you'll make sure our communications consistently spark interest and reach a range of audiences.”

This comes as conspiracy theories have been running rampant about Princess Kate, following her planned abdominal surgery and break from duties.

The Sun exclusively published a video of the Princess of Wales beaming as she walked side-by-side with Prince William at the weekend.

The couple carried bags of shopping as they wandered through the car park at a farm shop near Windsor.

Kate, 42, dressed casually in a hoodie and leggings, while Wills was sporting a cap and blue jeans.

Kate looks 'healthy & happy to be out' in 'jaw-dropping' video, reveals body language expert

Footage emerged just hours after The Sun exclusively revealed Kate had spent Saturday shopping and Sunday morning watching her children play sport.

The Sun last week called on the world to "Lay Off Kate" after she was criticised for editing her Mother's Day family photo - before vile fake tales started spreading.

Picture agencies withdrew, or “killed”, the image when discrepancies were discovered.

Experts have said the weekend’s sighting is a “great sign” and shows the country how well she is doing in her three-month recovery process.

A body language expert added that Kate looked "healthy, energetic and happy to be out".

Kensington Palace maintains Kate is “doing well” and will offer only significant updates as she recovers.

She spent 13 nights in hospital after requiring major surgery to her abdomen on January 17 at The London Clinic.

Kensington Palace's original statement on Kate Middleton's surgery

KENSINGTON Palace released a statement in January after Kate had undergone surgery.

Sources made it clear Kate would be out of action until at least Easter.

The palace said: "The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.

"She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.

"Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share.

"The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.

"She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible.”
