  • OVER TO ENGLAND

That's all from us in Azerbaijan, we have other plans for this evening, you know.

Denmark have done their bit, seeing off the Czech Republic to secure their spot in the semi-finals - and now they wait to discover their next opponents.

The Czechs depart Euro 2020, down and out, but with the tournament's joint-top scorer, five-goal Patrik Schick, in their possession.

The action now switches to Rome, and the last of the tournament's four quarter-finals, and you can follow all the drama of England's match with Ukraine on our live blog.

    Goodnight.

  • DANISH DELIGHT

There were only a fortunate one-and-a-half thousand Denmark fans inside the Olympic Stadium in Baku this evening, but there were a great many more watching back home in Copenhagen's fan park - and loving every moment.

  • AN AMBASSADOR'S RECEPTION

With this quarter-final win, Denmark, you're really spoiling us.

Ole Frijs-Madsen, the Danish ambassador to the Czech Republic, has shown himself to be the perfect diplomat by praising both sides for their performance while enjoying a can of Czech lager.

    Needs more Ferrero Rocher though.

  • DANES ROCK THE CASBAH

Denmark are heading to Wembley for Wednesday's semi-final.

Will it be a Clash with England?

  • DANES ON A ROLL

In 1992, Denmark came from nowhere to win the European Championships. Richard Moller Nielsen's team were only admitted to the tournament in the weeks before following the disqualification of war-torn Yugoslavia.

Twenty-nine years on, the current crop of Danes are treading a similar unlikely path. Given no chance after defeats in their opening two matches, and the emotion of Christian Eriksen's hospitalisation, Kasper Hjulmand's men are now in the semi-finals.

    Is history repeating itself?

  • FT: CZECH REPUBLIC 1-2 DENMARK

Denmark survive a brave Czech Republic challenge in the second half to book their place in the last four of Euro 2020.

First half goals from Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg did the damage, and although the Czechs hit back through Patrik Schick's fifth of the tournament, the Danes held on.

Having lost their first two matches of Euro 2020, Kasper Hjulmand's team are now in the semi-finals, where they will play either Ukraine or England at Wembley on Wednesday.

  • CZECH REPUBLIC 1-2 DENMARK
