Six Nations 2024 TV pundits and commentators: Who will be voicing the iconic competition?

There will be a star-studded line-up off the field

THE Six Nations is BACK - and fans want to know who they are seeing and hearing on their TV screens while watching the action.

Ireland will be determined to reclaim their crown after pulling off a sensational Grand Slam campaign in 2023.

However, English fans are hoping new captain Jamie George can lead Red Rose to a first Six Nations triumph in four years.

But something that has gone under the radar is the star-studded lineup that this year's competition will have off the field.

And SunSport is here to let rugby lovers know exactly who will be on the panel.

Who are the Six Nations 2024 pundits and commentators?

On ITV, presenters Mark Durden-Smith and Jill Douglas will be joined by World Cup winners Jonny Wilkson, Lawrence Dallaglio and Maggie Alphonsi.

Welsh legends Jamie Roberts and Dan Biggar are also set to be on the scene along with Irish icons Brian O'Driscoll and Rory Best.

Super Scotsman Johnnie Beattie and Ian McGeechan will also be on punditry duties and they'll also be joined by ex-England star Ugo Monye, Italian idol Sergio Parisse and French forward Benjamin Kayser.

As for the commentators, the line-up includes; Topsy Ojo, Gabriel Clarke, Nick Mullins, Miles Harrison, Shane Williams, Gordon D'Arcy, Ben Kay, Scott Hastings, David Flatman and Danielle Waterman.

For the BBC, Gabby Logan is on lead presenter duties with the likes of Wales legend Sam Warburton, England World Cup winning captain Martin Johnson, former Scotland captain John Barclay, Welsh legend Jonathan Davies and record points holder for Scotland Chris Paterson making up the punditry and co-commentary team.

Dylan Hartley, who led England to the 2016 Grand Slam, France legend Ben Kayser and Italian great Sergio Parisse will also be in the BBC studio across the tournament.

Andrew Cotter, Gareth Rhys Owen, Alastair Eykyn and Sara Orchard will be commentating, with Sonja McLaughlan and Lee McKenzie doing interviews and pitch-side reporting.

How can I watch the Six Nations 2024?

The 2024 Six Nations will be hosted free-to-air on the BBC and ITV.

Fans can also stream the entire action on either BBC iPlayer or ITV X through their chosen mobile device or tablet.

Late last year, the Government denied giving the Six Nations 'crown jewel' status that would mean it stays with the BBC for the foreseeable future.
