Wearing a stunning bright red bedazzled Dolce & Gabbana ensemble, Keys announced her arrival by performing "If I Ain't Got You" at a striking piano.

However, as some fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, noted, her performance got off to a rocky start, seemingly cracking up during the opening of the song.

"She's a great singer, she just left her keys at the studio tonight," tweeted one viewer.

Another joked, "This how I sing in the shower."

While a third asked, "Did this really happen, tho? Because how come halftime show on [YouTube] shows none of this failed key note?"

Their confusion stems from the fact that the NFL appears to have edited Keys' momentary error out of their Halftime Show highlights.

This decision has been met with mixed reviews from fans on X.

"Personally this kinda grinds my gears because part of what makes live singing commendable is that mistakes may happen, and you're vulnerable," one said.

"I wonder if she or her team was consulted for this edit, my guess is probably not based on the fast turnaround, but who knows."

A second added, "The cover-up. Her voice has been a mess for decades."

By comparison, a third called the decision, "A kind and classy move from the NFL.

"They are showing her grace. They decided that the world seeing her make a mistake once is enough………

"She doesn't need to be made fun of or criticized in perpetuity."

After Usher and Keys finished with "My Boo," he was later joined by H.E.R., Lil Jon, Ludacris, Will.i.am, and Jermaine Dupri.

The hit-filled setlist included, "Yeah," "Turn Down For What," "OMG," and "U Got It Bad" among others.

As for the game itself, the Kansas City Chiefs dramatically won their third Super Bowl in five years with an overtime touchdown thanks to Mecole Hardman Jr.

The Chiefs also became the first team since the 2003-2004 New England Patriots to win back-to-back titles.

The San Francisco 49ers' three-decade-long wait for a Super Bowl win will have to wait at least one more year.
