I’m a wrestling legend and ECW original – I never made it in the WWE after Vince McMahon said I was too dangerous
The Extreme Championship Wrestling original shared the ring with John Cena on pay-per-view
EXTREME Championship Wrestling original Sabu revealed former professional wrestling supremo Vince McMahon thought he was too much during his short-lived WWE stint.
The self-styled "Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac" made his name in the '90s during his time at ECW and New Japan Pro Wrestling thanks to his extreme high-flying stunts and hardcore style.

The now 59-year-old was signed by WWE in 2006 following a one-off appearance at ECW One Night Stand the year before, which led to the resurrection of the legendary promotion after record pay-per-view buys.
However, he never managed to reach success under then-chairman McMahon, even though he was booked in a dream match against then World Heavyweight Champion, Rey Mysterio.
The two highfliers met at ECW One Night Stand 2006 in a match to forget as it ended abruptly as No Contest.
McMahon refused to book a rematch as he deemed the ex-TNA star unsafe and didn't want to risk his world champion.
Sabu told WrestlingNews, "It was supposed to be a No Contest someway.
"Double count out, double knockout, both can't continue. It was my idea for the spot.
"They planned it for that and then Vince said behind my back that I was too dangerous and he didn't want me to wrestle Mysterio."
However, McMahon then went on to book Sabu against WWE's biggest star John Cena, whom he wrestled at Vengeance.

Cena defeated the ECW original but got a black eye during the encounter.
That angered both the 16-time world champion and McMahon as it affected the former's ability to carry out his promotional duties and had to delay filming a move for a month.

"I gave him a black eye and he was p****d about that. I gave him a black eye by accident. He gave himself a black eye, I should say," Sabu recounted.
"Cena was upset because he couldn’t do his movie for a month.”
Sabu dropped down the card soon after his loss to Cena and received some underwhelming bookings.
However, the legendary wrestler insists he holds no grudge towards the Leader of the Cenation and praised him as one of the best he has ever shared the ring with.
"Yes, he can dance. He's got my vote. He deserves his spot," Sabu added.
"Anybody who is jealous of him. Anybody who talks bad about him is probably jealous. I don't blame them for being jealous."
