NAPOLI are reportedly attempting to seal a double deal to sign two Premier League stars.

The Italian giants are attempting to rebuild their midfield options before the transfer window closes.

Club transfer chief Giovanni Manna is believed to be in London in order to wrap up the moves.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport have claimed that Manna is keen on sealing the transfers of Manchester United star Scott McTominay and Brighton and Hove Albion's Billy Gilmour.

The two Scottish midfielder have been heavily linked with moves this summer.

McTominay, 27, has attracted interest from the likes of Fulham and Galatasaray.

However, Fulham have not been able to agree on a fee with the Red Devils.

Gilmour has been a long-term target of the Naples side, with new manager Antonio Conte keen on a reunion.

The report adds that Manna has made an official enquiry about McTominay.

The Red Devils value the academy product at between £25-30million and will only entertain a permanent deal.

McTominay is in the last year of his contract at Old Trafford and will be able to leave for free next summer.

Man United have been linked with multiple midfielders this summer such as Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte and Burnley's Sander Berge.

Transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has also reported that Napoli have reached an agreement with the Seagulls over Gilmour.

Gilmour, 23, was an important player for Brighton last season as he appeared 30 times in the Premier League.

It is believed that the deal is worth £12m with add-ons.

He joined the South Coast side in 2022 on a four-year deal from Chelsea.

Napoli start their Serie A campaign on Sunday as they travel to Hellas Verona.
