England stars take in the sights and sounds of Chantilly ahead of their Euro 2016 opener against Russia on Saturday

Roy Hodgson's Three Lions, including Dele Alli, Jamie Vardy and Eric Dier snapped going for a hike around French village

ENGLAND'S stars have been taking in the sights and sounds of Chantilly - where they are based for this summer's Euro 2016 campaign.

Roy Hodgson's men took a stroll around the village, taking time out from their training schedule to meet locals, pose for photos and sign autographs.

The Three Lions have been based in Chantilly since Monday, where they have been preparing for their tournament curtain-raiser on Saturday, where they'll face Russia.

England's stars, including Jamie Vardy, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Gary Cahill and John Stones were snapped relaxing at a local cafe and posing for selfies.

Many Chantilly shops - including one called 'The English Shop' - had signs up in their window with the St George's cross and a football, adorned with 'Welcome', as the French locals have clearly made their cross-Channel neighbours feel welcome.

The Three Lions group looked in good spirits as they laughed and smiled on their way around Chantilly.

And England fans will be hoping the happy atmosphere will translate onto the pitch.

In other snaps, Manchester United stars Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford are spotted departing the hotel, with armed police dotted around the village amid security concerns in the nation.

Following Saturday evening's showdown with the Russians, Roy's boys will take on Wales on June 16, before closing out their group stage campaign on June 20 against Slovakia.
