Although the upfront price will always be higher than other holidays, all-inclusive stays are a great way to keep costs down.
This is because you'll know exactly what you're paying for the entirety of your holiday.
They're also particularly good for families, as many hotels offer family-friendly facilities, menus, and activities.
Some holiday companies still offer free kids' places, too, but these are starting to sell out quickly.
The school holidays in England should run until the last weekend of August, with kids returning to school on September 3, 2024.
Meanwhile, Scotland's holidays are earlier, with children heading back to school in a week or two.

If you're unsure where to go, a new study by TravelSupermarket suggests that Costa Brava (Spain) and the Bourgas area in Bulgaria should offer the lowest rates for all-inclusive holidays in summer 2024.
Many resorts are designed with families in mind, with kid-friendly activities, swimming areas, and entertainment options. This should allow parents to unwind and enjoy some downtime.
Many well-known locations, like Turkey and the Canary Islands, have spacious resorts ideal for families. These resorts offer many dining options, swimming pools, and even water parks.
