What does the winner of Interior Design Masters get?

INTERIOR Design Masters has been thrilling fans since it burst onto the scene in 2019.

Alan Carr's hit BBC One show brings with a HUGE prize, that the contestants must battle it out for.

What does the winner of Interior Design Masters get?

Interior Design Masters sees 10 talented, up-and-coming designers tackle a range of design challenges over eight weeks.

The contestants are competing to win a life-changing design contract with a prestigious commercial client.

At the moment the BBC are yet to disclose who the contract is with.

The winner will be announced on April 25, 2023.

Is the prize the same for every series of Interior Design Masters?

The prize changes for each season of the show.

This because the lucky winner is awarded a top design contract.

The past winners of Interior Design Masters have received the following:

Season three

Banjo Beale was crowned the winner of Interior Design Masters 2022.

Hailing from the Isle of Mull, he is a cheesemonger and marketer by trade.

He won a contract to redesign a self-catering holiday property near Newquay.

Season two

The second winner was Yorkshire-born Lynsey Ford.

After winning the competition, she was given the opportunity to redesign a two-bedroom suite at Another Place, a contemporary hotel in the Lake District.

Experienced architect Lynsey, was pregnant at the time of filming Interior Design Masters.

Season one

In 2019 Cassie was crowned the first-ever winner of Interior Design Masters.

She won design the bar inside London's posh Dorsett Hotel.

Before going on the show she had earned a degree in Fashion Photography and set up Dig Haüshizzle, a decorative antique store, with her husband Edward in 2010.

What happens on Interior Design Masters?

Alan will be joined by former Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decoration magazine, Michelle Ogundehin who reprises her role as Head Judge.

Each week the pair will enlist the help of design gurus and industry experts as specialist guest judges.

In every episode, the budding designers confronted with a new commercial space to transform as they work to impress the judges. Past series challenges have ranged from shops, offices, show homes and restaurants.

Interior Design Masters kicks off TONIGHT (March 7, 2022) at 9pm on BBC One.
