A POPULAR Sky News host is returning to the show after six years away from the station.
Darren McCaffrey has confirmed that he will be heading back to doing live reports after quitting the broadcaster in 2018.
The journalist even stepped back from TV altogether last year when he took time out to travel across the world and has been based in Vietnam recently.
Now, he will be coming back to the UK in order to re-join the channel that brought him stardom.
Darren confirmed the news on X - formerly Twitter - and also revealed just when he would be back on screens.
Looking smart in his suit, Darren shot a cheeky grin down the lens of the camera for a snap ahead of his big TV return.

"Can’t wait to get started when I return from my travels just after Easter and work alongside the best team in the business."
One of his Sky colleagues welcomed the news as they penned: "Wasn't expecting this. Congratulations Darren and welcome back to Sky!"
His fans were then quick to join in, writing: "That’s great news! Looking forward to you being back in Westminster."

Before another told him: "That's fantastic, congratulations! They're very lucky to have you!"
Although Darren walked away from Sky six years ago, he was quickly snapped up for a five-year stint across Euronews and GB News.
He worked as the Political Editor at the channels for five years before leaving to travel the world for a year.
Darren is the latest in a long-line of stars to join, and re-join, Sky News in recent times.
Former ITV star Matt Barbet recently landed a major role with the network.
He is appearing on a variety of the channel's biggest shows as well as landing his own Sunday programme after decades in journalism.
The presenter has worked on some of the biggest stories over the last 25 years for a variety of outlets including the BBC, ITV and Channel 5.
Matt's new role will see him present a new Sunday mid-morning and early afternoon show between 10am and 2pm.
The programme will become his flagship role with Sky as well as being a stand-in host for all of their biggest programmes.
