Now other Britain's Got Talent fans have suggested vocalists Northants Sings Out were "robbed" of the coveted buzzer.

The choir was accompanied by a pianist and kicked off with a tuneful rendition of It Is Well With My Soul.

Yet they really turned up the heat - and the energy - as they burst into a rendition of crowd-pleaser track, Show Me Love.

With all judges bar Simon, 64, on their feet dancing to the denim-clad gang, they proved a huge hit.

Yet after they missed out on the fast-pass ticket, one was quick to moan: "They were absolutely incredible and were robbed of the golden buzzer!!"

Another posted: "SHOULD HAVE BEEN A GOLDEN BUZZER GUYS."

A third then put: "Absolutely brilliant! Much better than all these novelty acts we keep seeing lately."

A fan then quizzed: "WTF why have they not been given the #goldenbuzzer that choir was completely incredible. That was with a few of them. Imagine all 200. It's going to sound heavenly. There's my winner for the series. Choir but in a new way. Love it."

Despite not securing the Golden Buzzer, the group have progressed to the next round.

BGT fans slam Simon Cowell as they spot disgusting habit

Earlier in the episode, fans told how they were unimpressed when Simon gave his Golden Buzzer to a professional Japanese act.

Despite there being no rules about where acts come from, fans couldn't help but show their apparent disdain.

The group, which features dancers aged between 20 and 28, received a standing ovation following their performance.

Simon then told them: "Amazing!

"That was fantastic, that was my favourite act of the day actually.

"Really, really, really good."

One person moaned on X: “Did ITV get a group booking for a flight from Japan? Or is this Japan's got Talent?

“Can Ofcom look at this like the trade descriptions act?! A very misleading name for a TV show!”
