Dwayne Johnson fans think the actor looks ‘unrecognizable’ in the first look for upcoming movie The Smashing Machine
The former wrestler's new look was quite the change from his usual shaved appearance
DWAYNE Johnson has fans buzzing as he looked unrecognizable in a photo for a new movie.
The former wrestler, also known as The Rock, is starring in the upcoming film, The Smashing Machine, with Emily Blunt, next year.

In the first promo photo, Dwayne, 52, made fans do a double take as he has a full head of hair, a far cry from his usual bald head.
Dwayne's face also looks unrecognizable as he appears in pain in the photo.
While his signature muscles were on display, the former pro wrestler took fans by surprise with his changed appearance.
"Dwayne looks totally different," one X, formerly Twitter, user said.
"He looks so different," said another.
"I actually had to zoom in to make sure that was him because wow… literally unrecognizable!" a third said.
"Didn't even recognize him!" said one follwer.
"Why does he look so different?" asked another.

The Smashing Machine tells the story of mixed-martial arts and UFC champion Mark Kerr.
Dwayne and Emily also worked together on Disney's 2021 film, Jungle Cruise.

Emily, 41, stood off to the side, outside of the rink in the photo.
With her head turned and her blonde hair dyed brown, the British actress also took fans by surprise.
"Truly was wondering why this wasn’t depicting either of those actors at first lol," an X user said.
"Emily Blunt looks like she time traveled in 2006," another joked.
One social media user thought Emily was actress and singer Julia Fox.
THE SMASHING MACHINE
Dwayne will play Mark in the film, which is directed by Benny Safdie.
The Smashing Machine is set to be released in 2025.
Emily is rumored to be playing Dawn Staples, Mark's ex-wife, according to IMDb.
Lyndsey Gavin will play a character named Elizabeth Coleman.
Ryan Bader will be Mark Coleman.
Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated Tyson Fury in a thrilling split-decision bout on Saturday, is joining the film as Igor Vovchanchyn.
