At the end of the final on Sunday, singer Sydnie Christmas was crowned winner of BGT 2024, followed by Jack as runner-up.

Although Jack missed out on the £250,000 prize fund and a chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance later this year, it seems that judge Simon isn't worried about Jack's future.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun about what the music mogul said to him after the final, Jack said: "You know, I was talking to Simon Cowell and he's going, 'hey, don't worry about coming second. You're set for life', sort of thing.

"Like, 'congratulations, you're amazing' and all that lot."

During his final performance, Jack asked judge Amanda Holden to take off one of her rings and put it in a jar, which was in Bruno Tonioli's hand the whole time.

He then performed a comedy routine with a lie detector, giving the lie detector hat to Simon, before making the ring disappear and reappear in the lightbulb at the top of hat.

The final three acts on Sunday evening were Abigail & Afronitaaa, Sydnie Christmas and Jack.

Fans recently fumed that Jack was "robbed" during the final after a "predictable" result.

Many took to social media to share that they thought Jack was the worthy winner.

Britain's Got Talent star Sydnie Christmas reveals very normal way she celebrated show win

One person wrote: "BGT Is singing really variety? Jack was robbed, he was much more entertaining."

A second posted: "BGT Absolute joke! Singing was average at best, Innocent was FAR better and Jack was robbed. Many better acts, seems the rumours were true that Simon fixed the results."

Jack auditioned this year after he tried out for the show as The Phantom two years ago.

He reached the 2022 semi-final with his invisible ghost act, but has this time auditioned as himself.

Jack has plenty to look forward to in coming months.

His live show  Part-Time Wizard, Full-Time Moron is coming to UK theatres in October.

He'll be performing in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Brighton.

Speaking about the upcoming shows, Jack revealed: "So this is the first time I'm stepping out of the garage to do a proper tour like this.

"This is unlike anything I've ever done before. What I will say is that what you're seeing on BGT is just a flavour of what to expect for the show.

"There'll be lots of laughs, lots of magic, lots of nonsense, and I can't wait to show people what a full show of this can look like.

"And how did you take it from, as you said, your garage to then performing, especially at the Apollo and in front of such a big audience?

"You looked so calm and just total pro out there. How did you find that transition? It's a weird one."

Britain's Got Talent Judges

The ITV talent show wouldn't be the same without the four charismatic judges who put the contestants through their paces.

Simon Cowell is the staple of Britain's Got Talent and resumes his role as head judge. The mogul is one of the most iconic figures in music and is responsible for offsetting the careers of many performers around the world.

Amanda Holden has been a judge on Britain's Got Talent since it first started in 2007. The sexy star is a firm fixture on the judging panel, which has helped her to become a household name.

Alesha Dixon is back to judge the new series of Britain's Got Talent. The TV star joined the panel back in 2012 and quickly became a fan favourite.

Bruno Tonioli makes up the fab four. After leaving Strictly, he decided to move over to ITV and is the newest BGT judge after replacing David Walliams.
