And a third disgruntled viewer said: "can't vote!"

Host Maya Jama returned to Majorca to reveal who had won the £50k prize after eight weeks in the villa.

Maya, 29, looked stunning in the figure-hugging number as she opened the show this evening.

It wasn't long before awestruck ITV2 viewers took to X, formerly Twitter, to heap praise on the host.

One gushed: "Maya Jama has hot the looks and body of a 1980/90s supermodel."

At the end of the live final she announced Mimii and Josh had won after beating favurites Nicole and Ciaran.

The pair had battled it out alongside Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spender, and Sean Stone and Matilda Draper.

Ayo and Jess came in fourth place, swiftly followed by Sean and Matilda.

The pressure was then on Mimii and Josh, and Nicole and Ciaran to scoop the winners' titles and £50,000 prize.

Eventually, after the final public vote was closed, Maya announced that this summer's Love Island winners were Mimii and Josh.
