EASTENDERS actress Cheryl Fergison has managed to land a new acting role over a decade after leaving Walford.
The soap star was axed from the show against her will and has been open about her struggle to get back on screens ever since.

But now she is set to star in this year's pantomime production of Cinderella at The Cresset Theatre.
The actress will be playing the Fairy Godmother during the festive season from December 14 to 31.
Cheryl's soap character, Heather Trott, was a fan favorite on EastEnders until her untimely demise in 2012.
Viewers were left devastated when Heather got bludgeoned to death by troublemaking Ben Mitchell.

It was clear that the decision was made by EastEnders executives as Cheryl later alluded to the fact that it was not her choice to leave the programme.
At the time, a source told The Sun: "Heather’s character has been hugely popular over the years, but the decision has been taken to cut her out of the show before viewers tire of her."
After her time in Walford ended, Cheryl had to turn to offering singing lessons on Zoom to make ends meet.
She also dabbled in helping aspiring actors kick off their careers.

At one point the actress voiced her frustration with the BBC during a surprising outburst in 2023.
"And I wasn't invited because? Oh, Enders and team, thanks for the memories!", Cheryl angrily penned in her comment which was then posted as a screenshot on X by one of her fans.

This prompted many fans to respond in the comment section and a handful of them were asking for more details.
The poster replied to the many interrogations by indicating that Cheryl could be disappointed to not have been a part of Get Britain Singing's recent Christmas instalment, aired on ITV on Sunday (December 24, 2023).
"She’s fuming she didn’t get asked to do the singing show that was on last night", the fan theorised.
At another point Cheryl took a swipe at Alison Hammond for landing the role of new show host on For the Love of Dogs.
The actress claimed that the late Paul O'Grady "would have wanted" her to present the show, adding: "You know, I can turn my hand to most things, I'm not begging for a job.
"I'm just telling you I'm perfect for a lot of jobs but you guys are not putting me up for them, letting me go for them, and I don't know why.
"I say good luck to Alison Hammond (for getting) For The Love Of Dogs, but I'm telling you now, Paul O'Grady would've definitely given me his blessing to do that job, because a) I have a dog, we've discussed our dogs quite a lot and I've always had dogs in my life, and erm yeah, dogs are the best, it's that simple."
