The Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go star, who died in 2016 aged 53, wore it on his 25 Live Tour from 2006.

Described as being in “near-mint” condition, the starting bid is £3,000 but it is expected to fetch up to £10,000.

A 1966 Rickenbacker guitar played by Noel Gallagher in Oasis may attract an even bigger price — at £25,000.

Signed by Noel, it is said to “embody the essence of British rock at its finest”.
