Priestly Fairweather woke up the morning after a one night stand, and readied himself for the dreaded walk of shame.

However, when he reached the front door and went to put his shoes on, he realised that they had gone missing.

After searching around for the shoes, he came to the only logical conclusion.

The single mum's son had worn his Airforce trainers to school.

Priestly then had to pull on the kids' school shoes, and sheepishly walk home in them.

Thankfully, they appeared to have the same size feet.

Sharing details of the hilarious escapade on TikTok, Priestly wrote: "That's the last time I'm staying at a single mum's house.

"Her son wore my Airforce to school.

"Now I'm in his shoes on the way home!"

The video, which was posted under the username @priestlyfairweat has likely left many people in stitches, as it has racked up over 2.1 million views on the video sharing platform.

I had a one night stand on the beach in Tenerife and now I'm pregnant - help me find the dad before the baby is born.

TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts.

One person said: "He was laughing the whole way to school knowing he’s the same shoe size lol".

A second person said: "This had me crying real tears."

A third person chimed in: "She taught her son right!"

What is walk of shame?

A walk of shame is the instance of walking home the night after an unplanned sexual encounter, often after a party of night out.

The person is often wearing the same clothes as the night before, and has to face neighbours and passers-by on the walk, who they fear may pass judgement.

Commenting on Priestly's pink socks, another person said: "Did her daughter take your socks as well?"

A fifth added: "I love her son for that".
