Across social media, fans of the biscuits are sharing their thoughts on them - and the reaction hasn't disappointed.

In one TikTok, user @offthe_shelf said they might actually prefer this take on the biscuit better than the original McVitie's version.

They said: "10/10, the Galaxy chocolate adds a nice touch."

While others were worried about the biscuit itself, one user shared how that doesn't disappoint either.

TikTok user @unkleeats said: "The chocolate on the top is really good and the digestive isn't McVitie's so you're almost worried that it might be a crap digestive.

McVities fans slam discontinued biscuit as 'so disappointing' & cry 'oh no' after it returned to shelves with NEW recipe

"But it's nice, it's crumbly, it's sweet. As a stand alone biscuit, that's easily an 8/10.

And for anyone worried about the "dunkability" of the biscuit when it comes to tea or coffee, he added that it was a "solid dunk".

There's even better news for Dunnes shoppers when it comes to these biscuits, especially if you want to up the game a little bit.

Dunnes Stores don't only now sell regular Galaxy digestives, but they have also launched an orange flavour version of them.

These too are on sale from €2.50 down to €1.75 at the moment, so you'll want to be quick getting your hands on them.

The discounted price is valid only until July 9, so it's one more day to grab a few backs before they go back to their original price.

Both versions of the biscuits are suitable for vegetarians but may contain barely, soya and oats for anyone with allergies.

For vegans, those who are lactose intolerant and anyone on a gluten free diet, unfortunately they aren't suitable as they contain traces of milk and wheat flour.

Separately, chocolate lovers are set for frenzy as Cadbury are set to bring back a "yummy" 90s bar.

The chocolate giant has been teasing the return of an old favourite - and fans were delighted when it was revealed Top Deck would be making a come back.

Taking to social media, Cadbury gave a clue to followers about which bar would be returning.

They said: "I'm a two layered delight with a nostalgic taste, white and milk chocolate, the best of both worlds."

And fans were quick to guess it was the 90s favourite Top Deck.

One wrote: "It has to be Top Deck... the excitement."
