THIS is the moment ex-BBC host Emily Maitlis was told to "f**k off" by conspiracy theory-loving Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Far-right Republican Greene flipped after the Brit journalist confronted her about peddling ridiculous claims that Jewish space lasers started a deadly California wildfire.

Former Newsnight anchor Maitlis caught Greene for a chat at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago after the ex-President secured wins in several states amid his race to reclaim the White House.

Maitlis - who famously interviewed Prince Andrew - asked Greene what message she had for Trump challenger Nikki Haley.

She then questioned Greene, 49, on her prospects of becoming his running mate.

But the interview then took a turn as Maitlis, who now hosts The News Agents podcast, frustrated Greene by quizzing her on conspiracy theories.

Maitlis asked: "Can you tell me why so many people that support Donald Trump love conspiracy theories, including yourself?

"He seems to attract lots of conspiracy theories."

Greene shot back: "Well let me tell you. You're a conspiracy theorist and the left and the media spread more conspiracy theories.

"We like the truth, we like supporting our Constitution, our freedoms and America First."

But Maitlis then took things a step further by asking: "What about Jewish space lasers? Tell us about Jewish Space lasers."

Before storming off, an angered Greene replied: "No, why don't you go talk about Jewish space lasers.

President Joe Biden and Donald Trump sweep the state primaries that were held on Super Tuesday according to predictions

"And really, why don't you just f**k off - how about that."

Maitlis' probing was about a now-deleted Facebook post, Greene shared in 2018.

She claimed the deadly California wildfire was potentially caused by space lasers connected to the Rothschild family and former California Gov Jerry Brown.

Greene said there were "too many coincidences to ignore" regarding the cause of the fires.

She then went on a rant trying to connect Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E), which did spark the blaze that killed 85 people due to faulty equipment, with the Rothschilds.

PG&E previously pleaded guilty to being responsible for the blaze and agreed to pay more than $25 billion in damages.

Greene has been known to support the bizarre QAnon conspiracy theory, though she has tried to publicly distance herself from Q supporters since getting elected in 2020.

Maitlis' shock chat with Greene came as Trump revelled in his Super Tuesday success.

In a victory speech, he branded Joe Biden the worst president in US history and failed to mention his Republican rival Haley.

Trump stormed to victory in more than a dozen Republican contests and his diehard supporters accused Haley of hiding out at home as she suffered a landslide defeat.

His victory lap came as he continued to storm to the Republican Party's presidential nomination.

A total of 1,215 delegates are needed to clinch the nomination and Trump has racked up more than 950 delegates to his name.

Haley is languishing behind with 86 delegates and only scored one win on Super Tuesday.

Vermont has been called for Haley but only nine of the state's 17 delegates have been added to her column so far.

Trump scored victories in 14 states -  Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Oklahoma, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Minnesota, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Alabama, Arkansas, California, and Utah.

Utah was the final state to call its Republican race.

In the Golden State, Trump's expected margin of victory will be around 50 percentage points.

He has clinched all 169 of the state's delegates that were up for grabs.

Trump is set for a huge victory in Texas where he's leading Haley with 78% of the vote.

More than 140 of the state's 161 delegates have been allocated for Trump.
