Why not head to the cinema for long weekend with all genres including superhero, drama and tearjerker catered for
Hitting cinemas tomorrow is Julia Roberts' new movie Ben Is Back
IF you're looking ahead to the long weekend and wondering how you're going to fill it then simply go to the cinema.
Whether it's action packed superhero fantasy, period drama, or a tear jerker that'll break your heart — all three genres are catered for this weekend.
Hitting cinemas tomorrow is Julia Roberts' new movie Ben Is Back.
I've loved Julia since seeing Pretty Woman as a kid and when I interviewed her for Eat Pray Love she was everything I hoped she'd be, which is actually unusual as celebs can disappoint.
Julia was so laid back, she had the heels kicked off and the feet up beside me on the plush sofa of the Claridges Hotel suite.
She was refreshingly real, up for a laugh and down to earth. Even though she's a serious actress she doesn't take herself too seriously.
Ben is Back is a great example of the serious actress side.
In the movie, 19-year-old Ben unexpectedly returns home from rehab on Christmas Eve.
Ben's mother, Holly (Julia Roberts), is relieved and welcoming but wary of her son staying clean.
Over a turbulent 24 hours, Holly's undying love for her son is tested as she does everything to keep him safe.
Ben is Back gives an insight into how drug addiction doesn't just ruin one life, but entire families and Julia is great in it. If you're not in bits by the end, you don't have a heart!
For those who like romantic weepies, then go see Keira Knightley's stunning performance in post war drama The Aftermath.
On the other hand if you just want a laugh, action, fun and adventure then just head straight to Captain Marvel. Brie Larson makes for a fine superhero.
