IRELAND ace Ciaran Frawley spoke of his delight as Ireland edged out the Springboks in an epic test clash in Durban.

The series ended 1-1 after the Leinster star drilled a stunning last-gasp drop kick to seal a one point victory for Andy Farrell's side.

Ireland lead at the break 16-6 at Kings Park in another bruising battle against the World champions as Andy Farrell took charge for the 50th time in a test match.

But the Springboks came firing back as Ireland showed an ill-disciplined second half showing after starting so brightly.

The Leinster full-back and number ten spoke with Sky Sports after the thrilling win at Kings Park as he expressed his delight.

He said: "I actually don't know to be honest, it's mental. The place is like a fortress, it's so loud.

"The game was going back and forth, they got momentum - probably for most of the second half.

"Then we got the yellow card [Caelan Doris] but the boys dug in deep. We were in our own half but managed to get up and get the final points but look - delighted.

The 27-year-old landed two goals in the game after coming from the bench in the final test.

When asked about how he'd enjoy his five week holiday the Dubliner added: "I'm just going to have a pint now and enjoy it.

The Boks won last week's opener 27-20 but Ireland's epic second test 25-24 win saw the gruelling but epic series end level as the majority of the crowd left disappointed at Kings Park.
