NEWCASTLE will face four-time winners Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup after Wednesday's draw served up some tasty ties.

The Magpies will travel to Forest's City Ground in one of two all-Premier League ties commencing on the week of August 26.

The other top-flight battle sees West Ham host Bournemouth in a tasty clash.

But there are plenty of other mouth-watering clashes in the next round of the competition.

AFC Wimbledon will take on Prem new boys Ipswich.

While Wolves face relegated Burnley at Molineux.

There are further interesting encounters including League One Crawley Town versus Premier League Brighton.

While Colchester, of League Two, will be hosting top-flight Brentford.

Liverpool are the current holders of the Carabao Cup.

They beat Chelsea with a dramatic extra-time winner in last season’s final at Wembley.

But as Liverpool finished in the top half of the Premier League, they will not be entering the draw until the third round.

Tuesday and Wednesday saw the first round of the Carabao Cup take place, with some interesting results along the way.
