Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye fuels speculation of exit after being pictured at Marseille training ground
Frenchman was linked with a move to the Ligue 1 side 12 months ago and it appears they have reignited their interest
CRYSTAL PALACE midfielder Yohan Cabaye could be heading back to France after being snapped at Marseille's training ground.
The 32-year-old was linked with a move to the Europa League finalists last summer but the Eagles were unwilling to cash in.
But it appears he has played his last game for Palace with Marseille reigniting their interest in the Frenchman.
Cabaye's contract expires this summer and he will hold talks with the club over extending his three-year stay.
However, it seems Marseille will waste no time in tempting him with a contract and the lure of moving back to France may prove too much for the former Paris Saint-Germain man.
Just this week Cabaye told Crystal Palace's website that "he doesn't know what the future holds."
He revealed: "I don't know what the future holds. It was a hard, tough season so I will have a chat with my agent, the club and the chairman.
"I have no stress about my future. I've had three fantastic seasons here, I love the club and my life in London is perfect, so I will see.
"The fans are brilliant and I want to thank them once again. Since my first day here, they have been fantastic with me and I've tried to give them back their support.

"It's special to play here; the place is rocking every weekend, so us finishing 11th is for them. I hope the future can be even better for them."
Cabaye started 28 league matches this season but failed to find the net for the first time in his career.
Roy Hodgson worked wonders with Palace, steering them away from relegation into an 11th place finish.
