Delph, Tosun and Sigurdsson released on free transfers by Everton after trio who cost £73m see contracts expire

EVERTON are set to release Fabian Delph, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Cenk Tosun.

The Toffees spent an eye-watering £73million on signing the trio, who are all now free agents.

Sigurdsson was signed by Ronald Koeman for £44.5m after impressing at Swansea.

The 32-year-old Icelandic midfielder scored 31 goals in 156 matches but has not featured since May 2021.

Turkish striker Tosun spent four years on Everton's books .

But last season he was on the pitch for just 11 MINUTES in all competitions.

He was loaned out to Crystal Palace and Besiktas during his time on Merseyside.

As for Kenny, The Athletic are reporting that he has had an offer from another Premier League team and two in Germany.

The full-back spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Schalke.

Everton also confirmed that they have renewed the contracts of goalkeepers Asmir Begovic and Andy Lonergan.
