AYR

1.30

DARK JEDI won in a battle at Ffos Las on debut and followed up with an excellent second when upped to Listed class at Salisbury last time out.

1

He relished the step up to a mile there and has plenty more to offer.

2.00

QUEEN’S SARGENT has come tumbling down the weights and gets soft ground here for the first time since winning well at Musselburgh in March.

He has been running in much stronger contests than this, including at York last time. This trip is ideal and he looks capable of bouncing back.

Truth Or Dare is another who relishes this ground and could come into the reckoning from 3lb below his last win.

2.30

MUSTAQBAL relishes bottomless ground and was a convincing winner at Carlisle over this trip last time out.

He has a 6lb penalty for that success and usually goes well at this course and distance. He’s proven in this class and should relish the conditions again.

EXCITING PROSPECT Quorto extends his unbeaten record in Group 1 National Stakes

3.05

WELD AL EMARAT went close against stronger opposition than this at Chepstow last time out. He sees out this mile well and ran a good race when third at Doncaster earlier this season.

Given he’s had just two runs this season he should have plenty left in the tank against some busier rivals.

3.35

MORANDO has performed well in better races than this, including when finishing a good third in a Haydock Group 3 in testing ground this time last season.

He didn’t seem to enjoy the quicker conditions at Sandown last time and has been given a nice break since that July run. He has won here before and should get home over the distance.

4.10

CHE BELLA likes it soft as she showed when winning in tacky conditions at Thirsk last time out.

She’s gone up 6lb for that success but stays in the same class of race and, given the ground, should run another big race.

4.45

DANEHILL DESERT left his challenge too long when a fast-finishing second at Catterick last time out. The handicapper has dropped him 1lb for that and the first-time cheekpieces could help.

He has had a busy season but is only three so is one of the least exposed runners in the line-up.

5.20

NORTHERN SKY has been running over hurdles and returns to the Flat from what looks a very fair mark. He has no problem with this trip and shows all his best form with plenty of cut in the ground.

Palindrome looks a danger after a good second on the all-weather at Southwell last time out.
