EastEnders’ Lacey Turner seen puffing on a cigarette as Stacey Slater star goes barefoot outside NTAs
LACEY Turner looked all partied out as she was snapped barefoot and puffing on a cigarette after the National Television Awards.
It was a big night for the 35-year-old after EastEnders scooped three gongs at the NTAs - including Best Serial Drama, beating off competition from rival soap Coronation Street.
Actress Lacey, who plays Stacey Slater in the BBC1 show, looked worlds away from Walford while posing with her co-stars on the red carpet in a red ruffled floor-length gown.
But it seems she may have celebrated a little too hard as Lacey was later seen puffing away while clutching her gold strappy heels and bag.
Lacey will play a main part in the upcoming Christmas murder storyline and Stacey was revealed as one of "The Six" during a flash forward episode in February.
Also involved are Sharon Watts [Letitia Dean], Denise Fox [Diane Parish], Linda Carter [Kellie Bright], Suki Panesar [Balvinder Sopal] and Kathy Beale [Gillian Taylforth].
As they posed on the red carpet on Tuesday night, Lacey, Letitia, Diane, Kellie, Balvinder and Gillian made a nod to the upcoming scenes.
The actresses wore outfits in the same colours their characters were wearing in the flash-forward episode.
And the male stars of the show also got involved in the teasing at the NTAs, after the murder victim - an unknown man - was shown to be wearing a suit and cufflinks.
Danny Walters, who plays Keanu Taylor, explained how the producers wanted many of the actors to wear the same cufflinks on the red carpet last night.

The 30-year-old spoke to The Sun while attending the NTAs at London's O2 Arena, and said: "I think tonight there is 10 other male actors they wanted to put the cufflinks on. I think it’s smart, you’re teasing the audience."
