A LOVE Island couple have given fans fresh hope they have reunited after a subtle hint on Instagram.

The pair split in March this year after a seven-month romance - but it’s clear fans haven’t given up hope they might be able to work it out.

In the weeks since Molly Marsh and Zach Noble parted ways, Zach has been seen at events in London, while Molly took the solo trip of a lifetime around New Zealand.

But yesterday, after Zach posted a video of himself at the gym, some believe they saw proof the couple have reconnected.

In the caption of the intense workout video, Zach wrote: ““You’re losing focus again.

“In a few years time, we’ll see who was putting in work. And who was just doing up influencer.”

Molly posted three emojis in response - an applause, a love heart and a graph showing growth.

In response, Zach sent a love heart back.

Some think it’s the first sign the pair are trying to patch up their relationship.

“Giving it another go when you come back from New Zealand I hope,” wrote one.

“You guys remind me of Dexter and Emma in One Day,” said another, prompting someone else to jump in on the Netflix reference and note: “Um what? You know how that ends right? Someone better keep Molly away from a bike.”

One Day is a Netflix series in which a couple keep finding their way back to each other over the years - but while romantic, it ends in tragedy.

Zach and Molly ended up in fourth place during last year’s Love Island, with Jess Harding and Sammy Root taking home the prize money.

They later enjoyed romantic trips to Gran Canaria and Lapland together.

But by March their romance had seemingly fizzled out, and a representative for the couple confirmed they had gone their separate ways.

They said: "They both are still extremely close friends and will be supporting each other in their next ventures.

"The relationship has ended on good terms for both of them, and they wish nothing but the best for one another.

"They have both said, 'Relationships don’t need to always end sour and sometimes parting as friends with the best memories is the best thing for everybody'."
