TOO MANY COOKS

Who left Celebrity MasterChef last night?

THE penultimate episode of Celebrity MasterChef saw one more chef leave the kitchen - falling short of the cooking show's finale.

Judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace have been whittling down the original 20-strong celebrity line-up - and now just three remain.

Who left Celebrity MasterChef last night?

On Tuesday, September 20, former EastEnders actor Cliff Parisi, model Lisa Snowdon, McFly musician Danny Jones and All Saints singer Melanie Blatt were challenged to serve up a theatrical dish.

With all four delivering on flavour and presentation it was a difficult decision for the judges to eliminate one excellent cook.

But it was Cliff who said goodbye to the MasterChef kitchen, narrowly missing out on a shot at the final, after serving up a dish inspired by cult TV show The Sweeney.

This left Lisa, Danny and Mel to sweat it it out in Italian chef Giorgio Locatelli's Mayfair restaurant kitchen.

The contestants had to produce food of an exceptional standard to serve to pioneers of Italian cuisine - Francesco Mazzei, Jacob Kenedy, Masha Rener and Theo Randall.

From sweetbreads to Italian desserts all three contestants managed to impress the expert chefs ahead of the final.
