He continued: “Got to hang out in a pub, got to have some Guinness on draft over there, basically just beer, milkshakes, delicious.

“And then I had my new favourite dessert shot which is a Baby Guinness.. I call it a dessert shot because I think it’s Baileys, Guinness and like maybe a whiskey shot in there.”

A Baby Guinness is actually made with Tia Maria and Baileys, but Travis called it "delicious".

He added: “Ireland was fun. They toured us a good time. But once you get off the plane, they have the thickest f***ing accents I’ve ever heard in my life.”

IRISH-US SHOWBIZ

Travis was in Ireland for the third night of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Era tour at the Aviva Stadium.

Speaking on his podcast, which he hosts with his brother Jason, New Heights, he talked about his time in London and Dublin for the tour.

Jason said the Eras tour was amazing as people of all ages were having fun but he was gutted he missed the show where Travis got to be on stage with Taylor.

He had been at the second London show but Travis also opened up about the celebs he had met in Ireland.

He said: “I met Julia Roberts in Ireland, in Dublin. Her and Stevie Nicks were in there having some  fun… (Stevie) is about every bit of what everyone makes her out to be, so awesome, just so awesome and just love to see her support and just meet her.

“Some of these people you meet and you’re just like ‘I don’t know what I’m doing here. You are unbelievable, your talent is unbelievable, how you present yourself is unbelievable and I’m just a jamoke supporting his girlfriend and it’s so much fun.'”

Travis was wearing the Irish rugby jersey in the recording of the video for the podcast but said he wasn’t sure what sport it was from.

Travis admitted he had played some snooker but hadn’t had time to go see a GAA game while he was in Ireland but Jason said he had seen Gaelic football being played in the US.

He said: “In Havertown, there’s a bunch of Irish inhabitants and they have a Gaelic Football club that competes over in Ireland. It’s an interesting sport to watch, it’s good. It’s kind of like soccer and (American) football mixed together.”

Tourist things

Jason scolded his brother for not going to the Guinness Storehouse after he said he is “not a big tourist guy. I like to just randomly wander”.

But Jason told him: “I agree but there’s some touristy things that are there for a reason. The Guinness factory - they did a good job. The whole story of that brewery, how it happens, I know it’s a touristy thing but they do it right.

“We went to Ireland after your London game against Detroit - me, mom, dad, Kylie and her family because they’re all Irish and the best part about Ireland is just going to random hole-in-the-wall pubs that all the locals go to.

“You get to go and interact with them.”
