The Limerick native is quarantining in Doonbeg in Clare and said on Instagram last night that she is enjoying quality family time after half a year of being separated from her kids Amelia and Darragh.

She is hopeful she will be able to leave quarantine tomorrow.

She said:  "I have my five day Covid PCR test tomorrow so fingers crossed all will be well and I will be able to move around more freely."

At present, anybody arriving into Ireland must have a negative PCR when they land and they will need to self-quarantine for 14 days.

People have the option of leaving home isolation on day five if they get a second negative Covid test.

Vicky added: “I am getting down to my favourite beach, Doughmore, for a daily walk when it is quiet (which I am entitled to do before the Covid police start in on me!) Here are some pics from two different days. "

"The weather has been great here. Today was absolutely gorgeous.”

She thanked everyone for their support since her return home from overseas.

Vikcy said: “Thank you to everyone for the lovely messages.

"I can't keep up with them all at the moment because I am focusing on spending time with my kids but I will get there…

"More to come once I am Covid free.”

SUPPORT

The mum-of-two also thanked a mysterious artist who left a touching message for her, painted on a rock on Doughmore, her favourite beach.

She said: "My husband, Jim, discovered this painted rock with a lovely, personalised welcome message for me at the Surfers Entrance two days ago.

"I have no idea who painted it for me but if anyone knows, please DM me. I would love to thank the artist.

"Jim brought it home to me. THANK YOU, whoever you are, for such a thoughtful gift."

Vicky also thanked the local Trump Doonbeg hotel for sending over a hamper full of goodies for herself and her family.

She said: "This evening, I came home from my walk to find this amazing picnic hamper with a full family size fish pie, homemade brown bread, nuts cookies and chocolate truffles from my friends at @trumpdoonbeg.
