AARON Carter claimed he suffered 100 seizures from a 'huffing and dusting' addiction, as sources claim air cans were discovered at the scene of his tragic death.

The 34-year-old's lifeless body was found in the bathtub at his home in Lancaster, California, on the morning of Saturday, November 5, by his terrified house-sitter.

Homicide detectives combed the property before telling the waiting media there was no foul play involved.

In his final interview with The U.S. Sun, less than two months before his passing, he opened up about his demons and stints in rehab after battling drug issues.

Aaron maintained he was on the road to recovery, claiming he was close to being "five years sober," although friends fear he relapsed before his death.

"I have done the work, working with the most renowned psychiatrists that there are," he said.

The I Want Candy hitmaker realized anti-anxiety and depression medication was needed to maintain mental stability after excessive 'huffing', which put his life at risk.

Office or kitchen supplies can be 'huffed' or 'sniffed', while 'dusting' refers to a specific brand of dust cleaner which is inhaled.

Aaron's cause of death has not yet been released, but law enforcement sources told TMZ air cans were found at the home, along with prescription pills.

The outlet also claims he missed a rehab therapy session the day before he died.

Huffing gives users a euphoric feeling, but can also cause hallucinations and disrupt normal heart rhythm, leading to irregularities and even sudden death.

"Some people need medications to function normally after they f***ed up their brain huffing duster cans and suffering over 100 seizures and going through all of that and still be able to have normal cognitive conversations today," Aaron said, referring to his addiction.

"It's really important to me to stay on those regimented medications.

"I have tried to take myself off of them three or four times in the last five years. Each time that I did, I didn't fall off the wagon, but I went into a very dark, depressed state and didn’t function normally."

He claimed he was introduced to huffing by his late sister, Leslie, who died after overdosing on prescription pills in 2012. She was just 25.

Despite worrying Instagram Live videos where Aaron appeared to be under the influence of substances, he told The U.S. Sun he was in control of his consumption of prescription pills.

Aaron previously insisted he would not die from drugs like his close friend Michael Jackson in 2009, whose cause of death was acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication.

MJ offered Aaron career advice and counseled him on relationships and family woes after they became close in the 1990s.

REHAB STINTS

The father-of-one said: "The difference between Michael and I is that Michael didn't go to rehab ... ever.

"He never went and got rehabilitated for actual addictions that people suffer from, whatever their drug of choice is.

"You can't look at my regimented medication as a drug of choice."

Aaron insisted he only took meds handed out at rehab centers, which were "prescribed" by his doctors.

Before his recent death, he was enrolled in a month-long outpatient program with Los Angeles-based Lionrock Recovery.

He went on: "Basically, unlike Michael, every single time, I voluntarily put myself into programs.

"Three inpatient programs and now one outpatient program."

However, Aaron's claims about Jackson were incorrect. The Billie Jean hitmaker did enter rehab for his painkiller addictions ending The Dangerous Tour in 1993.

Jackson's drugs of choice were opioids, painkillers given to him by doctors repairing scalp injuries suffered in a fire and during cosmetic procedures to make him look younger.

MJ FRIENDSHIP

His dangerous addiction saw him turn to anesthesia Propofol mixed with sleeping pills to get high.

The star refused offers for rehab in his final months, despite pleas from family and friends.

Aaron had spoken about his bond with Jackson in the past, and always insisted he was innocent of child sexual abuse and never touched him after he was accused by other alleged victims.

Although, the young star did open up about one strange incident in an unseen video interview from August 2022.

He said: "Michael was definitely not a pedophile like Wade Robson said. My experience with Michael was never anything close to that.

"There was one incident that happened when I was off kilter.

"Everyone wanted to hang out with Michael and I was sleeping in bed and Michael woke me up at 5 in the morning.

"Somehow, I don’t know how, he sleepwalked over and was at the end of the bed, like just sitting there.

"I was like 'Yo Michael what is up...what's going?’, and he was awake and he was like 'just thinking'."
