N-Dubz land massive two album deal and are secretly recording in Michael Jackson’s old studio

LAST year they successfully pulled off one of the most unexpected comebacks in music.

And now The Sun can reveal N-Dubz have landed a massive two album deal with EMI Records - part of industry giant Universal Music.

The group are currently working on new music in the same studio where the late Michael Jackson recorded Thriller 25 with WILL.I.AM in the heart of Ireland.

A source said: "The deal is massive for N-Dubz and their fans.

"For years it looked like they were never going to reunite but after the success of their tour they found themselves with multiple offers on the table.

"They are now signed to EMI for two new albums and are recording at Grouse Lodge Residential Recording Studios in Ireland - an hour outside of Dublin.

"In terms of when fans will get to hear the songs everything is still up in the air but hopefully by the time their summer shows kick off at least a couple of tracks will have been released."

The group consisting of Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer are set to play a number of large-scale outdoor shows including Isle of Wight Festival, Scarborough Open Air Theatre and London's Gunnersbury Park.

The news comes off the back of N-Dubz's 22 date sell out UK arena tour which included three nights at London's O2 Arena.

The Sun's Bizarre column broke the news of the noughties group's shock reunion last year revealing their plans to reunite for a nation-wide trek and release new song Charmer - their first song since 2011's single Morning Star.

Charmer gave the group their highest charting song in over a decade - peaking at No 32 when it was released in June.

The first time around N-Dubz topped the charts in a world where neither streaming or social media was a thing.

“We kind of feel like we missed the bandwagon years ago – the internet was just coming up and now it's at its peak,” Tulisa said at the time.

“It feels great to come back and experience what life is like as an artist [with] the internet – it's a whole different world.

“I loved watching the Brits this year. Just seeing all the current artists, and seeing them embracing the music finally. It's not even an 'urban' scene any more – it's pop. It's popular music now. We used to fight for that back in the day."

Prior to releasing their debut album Uncle B in 2008 the group quickly enjoyed critical acclaim - landing Best Newcomer at the MOBO Awards in 2007.

During their career, N Dubz enjoyed 2 Top 10 albums and 12 UK Top 40s.

They also bagged the top spot with 2009 single called Number 1 alongside rapper Tinchy Stryder before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2011.
