JUNGLE TO DANCE FLOOR?

Strictly bosses are desperate to sign I’m A Celebrity star Joel Dommett to add the ‘hunk factor’ to the next series

The comedian seemed to enjoy practising the famous Dirty Dancing lift with ex-Strictly professional Ola Jordan

STRICTLY Come Dancing bosses are reportedly "desperate" to sign I'm A Celebrity star Joel Dommett for the next series of the dancing show.

They are hoping that the addition of the comedian, 30, will add some "hunk factor" to 2017's Strictly.

A source told The Daily Star that bosses have been "impressed" by Joel and that they think he'll be a "great signing".

He showed what he could have to offer the show when former Strictly professional Ola tried to show him how to do the famous Dirty Dancing lift.

The dancer got Joel to lie down on the floor and put his arms up, hands positioned on her hips.

An unearthed video has also shown the former Skins actor hilariously dancing the routine to Lady Gaga’s iconic Telephone in just a bra and knickers.

He stars in an old spoof video, by Bring The Noise, which also features Nicole Scherzinger, Tinie Tempah, and Katherine Ryan.

He then managed, with relative ease, to lift the Strictly star in the air and balance her as he began singing the Time of My Life tune from the 80s flick.

Joel has proved fairly popular with the public since appearing in the jungle.

His odds of winning the show have recently shot up to 3/1, according to Sun Bets.

Gogglebox star Scarlett, 26, is back as the hot favourite at 7/4 to take the crown despite recently been overtaken by Adam Thomas.

Sun Bets spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “We expect her to entertain us with funny one-liners and melodramatic reactions all the way to the final.

“Her huge young fan base will be tuned in every night and look likely to vote en masse.”
