A pair of Transparent veterans — creator Jill Soloway and writer Ethan Kuperberg — are working together on a new show for Amazon, an as-yet-untitled musical comedy that'll focus on a woman finding herself in Los Angeles. (That's not much to go on, but I suppose you could describe Transparent the same way.) According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kuperberg came up with the idea and is writing the show; Soloway is serving as its executive producer alongside another Transparent alum, Andrea Sperling.

Shows like Kuperberg's are products of the deal Soloway signed with Amazon last year, an agreement that ensures the company will produce projects from Soloway and her suite of writers for the foreseeable future. In addition to her role on Kuperberg's show, Soloway is going to continue running Transparent — its third season premieres in September — and developing I Love Dick, an adaptation of Chris Kraus' book of the same name that'll star Kathryn Hahn and Kevin Bacon. She's even working on a movie, Ten Aker Wood, about a woman who starts working on a California pot farm when her marriage falls apart. In short, Soloway sounds rather busy, and Amazon Video users are going to start enjoying the fruit of her labor sometime soon.
