After a successful inaugural year, DisruptHR Chattanooga is back Wednesday at The Signal with an evening of ideas and discussion on cutting-edge human resources trends and topics.

"Think of it as a five-minute TED Talk with a dash of fun and a sprinkle of weirdness," founder Lisa Atkins said in a news release. "No matter your title, if you are interested in or care about talent, culture or technology -- you belong at this event."

"Disrupt" is an international concept and event, designed as an evening of exchanging information meant to energize, inform and empower. Fourteen speakers will be given five minutes each to talk about whatever they want as long as it's focused on work.

The event begins with a social networking hour at 5:30 p.m., with presentations at 6:30 p.m. Speakers will include top business professionals, best-selling authors, CEOs, HR directors and more from the larger Chattanooga area.

Tickets are $35 per person, which includes entry, networking opportunities, two drink tickets and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The show drew more than 150 attendees last year, and organizers are expecting another sold-out event.
