They are dedicated to UMB’s mission to improve the human condition and serve the public good of Maryland and society at-large, and they are committed to its core values of Respect and Integrity, Well-Being and Sustainability, Equity and Justice, and Innovation and Discovery.

The University’s leadership, led by the president, consists of the deans of the seven schools and the library, administrative officers, the Faculty and Staff senates, and the University Counsel. Each part of the leadership structure is vital to creating and supporting our vibrant institution.
