Volleyball under the Eiffel Tower? Horse riding at Versailles? Mapping the Paris Olympics
The 2024 Olympics in Paris will feature competitions at some of the city's most iconic locations. The opening ceremony will take place along the Seine River, with athletes marching across it. Additionally, beach volleyball will be held under the Eiffel Tower, and equestrian events will occur at the Palace of Versailles.
While most of the events will be in Paris, some competitions will take place elsewhere in France. Soccer matches will be spread across the country, and surfing will be held in French Polynesia.

2028 summer Olympics
The 2028 Summer Olympics is returning to the U.S. It will mark the third time LA has been the host city, having previously done so in 1984 and 1932. It’s the fifth time the Summer Games have been held in the United States (and the U.S. has hosted the Winter Olympics an additional four times).
