He joined VF from Entertainment Weekly, where he was the movies editor and oversaw awards coverage, and has also written for Vulture, Slate, and IndieWire. David is a National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award finalist and GLAAD Media Award nominee, and has written cover stories on Cate Blanchett, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more.
