Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost might be welcoming a new addition to their family in the very near future.

The actress is pregnant with the couple's first child, according to multiple source who spoke to Page Six, and she's apparently quite far along. “Scarlett is actually due soon, I know she and Colin are thrilled,” one insider told the outlet, while another confirmed, “Scarlett is pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile.” Speculation that Johansson might be expecting first began back in June when she didn't attend several promotional events for her new film. The source explained, “She hasn’t been doing many interviews or events to promote Black Widow, which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer.”

Instead of in-person appearances, the actress has been opting to do promotional appearances and interviews over Zoom, most recently appearing remotely on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on June 21. She also didn't attend a screening of Black Widow hosted in the Hamptons on Friday by her co-star David Harbour with an after party at Mariska Hargitay's home. That absence seems particularly notable given that Johansson and Jost own a home in Montauk and are typically neighborhood staples out East throughout the summer. “Scarlett usually spends a lot of the summer out in Amagansett and Montauk, and you’d often see her walking her dogs on the beach or getting coffee. But this summer it seems like she is deliberately trying to keep a low profile,” a Hamptons source said.

This would be Jost's first child and Johansson's second. The actress shares a six-year-old daughter, Rose, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac. The couple first met on the set of Saturday Night Life in 2006, but didn't start dating until May 2017 when they were spotted kissing at an after party for the show. They went public with their relationship in December 2017, and secretly got married three years later in October 2020 at “a quiet, private ceremony” in Palisades, New York.

Representatives for Johansson and Jost did not immediately respond to request for comment.
