How to read the NFL Injury Report

The most overlooked factor and key to winning the Super Bowl is staying healthy and if you see a bunch of players listed next to a team on the NFL Injury Report, it’s likely that team is in trouble. The NFL has 32 teams and each club can have a maximum of 53 active players listed before each game. Knowing that this professional sport is the most physical, a premium is placed on the NFL Injury Report.

While it’s very rare for a team to not having any injuries, there could be a chance that a club is not listed on the NFL Injury Report because it is 100 percent healthy. For each of the clubs with injured individuals, Players are listed by first and last names before their Position.

The most common positions in the NFL:
